When Jason lived on the Upper West Side, this was our "go-to" brunch spot. We definately consider it "our place" but what the hay, I can share! It's a pretty big restaurant but has a small town, Country feel. Popover's still has the same great waitstaff that it had when we started going there almost two years ago and obviously has the same great popovers. Don't know what a popover is? See these pics! Mmmmmm.
They are served with strawberry butter and you can also try apple butter. The coffee is really great (beats starbucks any day of the week), and every dish is heavenly. Also, there are cute teddybears sitting in every nook and cranny so you can cuddle up and regress! With my coffee, popover, and my teddy right next to me... I surpress the urge to suck my thumb:) and ask to go to the park next. Hmmm. Central Park's only blocks away, sound's like a plan. Popover's is on 87th and Amsterdam.
